Preparation Pays Off!

 As summer is rapidly winding down, families begin preparing themselves for the upcoming school year. Prepare is defined by Webster as: to make ready, usually for a specific purpose; make suitable; fit; adapt; train. Alligators prepare a mound prior to the hatching of  their eggs. The mound is prepared very carefully by Mom, anticipating exactly what will create the perfect environment for the new arrivals.

Migration & Hibernation both require preparation on the part of the animals affected.
