"Goodness" Gracious!

The Christian Life was intended to be a "Fruitful" life. As we grow in our intimacy with Christ, & learn to "walk in His Spirit", the fruit of the Spirit will appear in our lives. Today I'm going to focus on the fruit of Goodness & illustrate this fruit through the world of nature & animals. Christian author, evangelist, & preacher Billy Graham, who has reached an estimated 2-plus billion people, once stated, "Man has two great spiritual needs. One is for forgiveness. The other is for goodness."

Goodness Grows as we reach out to others!
Let's make this quick! We're not supposed to be "Good" to each other!
Mother Teresa, peacemaker, pioneer, & legend of Calcutta, stated,
People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.  For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.”
Goodness grows when we choose to overlook the "Bad" in others!
Goodness grows as we train our eyes to SEE the needs of others!
Christian pastor & author Chuck Swindoll once stated,"Few things are more infectious than a godly lifestyle. The people you rub shoulders with everyday need that kind of challenge. Not prudish. Not preachy. Just cracker jack clean living. Just honest to goodness, bone - deep, non-hypocritical integrity."
What Ewe see is what Ewe get! Goodness Gracious!

Goodness is revealed in the way we treat our loved ones!

Christian evangelist & author D. L. Moody once stated, " Joy is love exalted; peace is love in repose; long-suffering is love enduring; gentleness is love in society; goodness is love in action; faith is love on the battlefield; meekness is love in school; and temperance is love in training."

Goodness is making another's life a little easier!
Goodness is seen in teaching Ewer young the path to walk on!
Thomas Jefferson considered Christian author Francis Bacon as one of his top three people who ever lived! Bacon has once stated, " Of all virtues and dignities of the mind, goodness is the greatest, being the character of the Deity; and without it, man is a busy, mischievous, wretched thing."

Goodness is helping another get some of the "BUGS" out of their life!

Goodness provides "Balance" in each other's life!

Sheep have the benefit of having a Shepherd who displays the fruit of Goodness to his flock on a regular basis.

The Shepherd's Goodness allows us to  freely play soccer!

Goodness is allowing Ewer kids to Play, using Ewe for "Home Base"!
Every little bit of "Good" Ewe do today, is evidence to both Ewe & others, that the Good Shepherd is at work in Ewer heart! Happy Trails!
"Surely goodness & mercy shall follow you all the days of my life, & I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Psalm 23:6
