Patience is a Virtue!

"Fruitful Living" is the goal of the Christian life. When the fruit of the Spirit is growing in a Christian's life, it's evident that God is significantly taking root in that person's heart. Today, we will examine the fruit of "Patience", as seen through the world of animals & nature. Christian author & minister James H. Aughey writes, "Great things are not accomplished by idle dreams, but by years of patient study."

I need a lot of patience, waiting for these "Whipper - snappers" to grow up!
Patiently waiting almost  2 years in pregnancy was definitely worth it!
Founding Father Ben Franklin said, " He that can have Patience, can have what he will-"
Patience involves waiting for others to learn their lessons!
Raising kids requires LOTS of Patience!
Christian speaker Woodrow Kroll once stated, " Quite honestly, most people are quick to “write someone off.” But our God is a God of the second chance. Learn from One who is patient with you, and you’ll learn to be patient with others."
Waiting for kids to get "on their own," requires Mom to be very Patient!

Leading by example requires "tons" of Patience!

Christian author & leader John Piper wrote, " To wait on God means to pause and soberly consider our own inadequacy and the Lord’s all-sufficiency, and to seek counsel and help from the Lord, and to hope in Him (Ps. 33:20-22; Isa. 8:17)… The folly of not waiting for God is that we forfeit the blessing of having God work for us. The evil of not waiting on God is that we oppose God’s will to exalt Himself in mercy."

Reaching out to the "needy" demands Patience!

Patience is waiting for someone to answer when Ewe call!

Well known Christian author A. W. Tozer wrote," What then are we to do about our problems? We must learn to live with them until such time as God delivers us from them…we must pray for grace to endure them without murmuring. Problems patiently endured will work for our spiritual perfecting. They harm us only when we resist them or endure them unwillingly."

Stalking prey requires "Timing & Patience"!

Fishing is "Patiently" waiting for the right fish to bite!

Christian author, & leader of Morning Star Ministries, Rick Joyner, wrote, "It takes two wings for an eagle to fly. If an eagle were to try to fly with just one wing he would only spin around in circles on the ground. The same is true with many people who are trying to soar spiritually on their faith, but have not added patience. These just keep going around in circles, getting more and more frustrated and kicking up a lot of dust. Any truth that we teach without this counter balancing truth will lead us to frustration, not fulfillment".

Patience is standing with someone until they can stand alone!

Patience is waiting for just the right moment to strike!
Sheep patiently "chew the cud" while waiting  for their Shepherd to lead them into their next grazing opportunity!

Good things comes to him who waits!

Grazing here is a "taste of heaven"!  Ewe have to  wait on the SHEPHERD!
Wait patiently on the Good Shepherd to show Ewe the best places to graze in today! Enjoy!
"But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run & not be weary, They shall walk & not faint." Isaiah 40:31
